Whitney Houston
Whitney Houston began singing at age 11 in her hometown church in New Jerseyand soon discovered by Producer Mogul Clive Davis. After a phenomenal career in singing she branched out and starred in several blockbuster movies including “Waiting to Exhale” (1995), “The Preacher’s Wife” (1996), and “The Body Guard (1992). She hit a tough spot in her career after marrying R&B bad boy Bobby Brown and the world watch her slide down with a well documented problem with drugs. Recently, she was making her big comeback releasing a new album in 2009, her 7th Studio Album.
While in L.A. for the 2012 Grammy Awards show, Whitney was found dead in her room at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. The exact cause of her death is currently unknown and the autopsy report will not be released for several weeks. A funeral is planned for this upcoming weekend to celebrate her life and career in her hometown in New Jersey.
